Cool concept, I like the jumping mechanism. I would suggest adding some way to tell where the platforms may be coming and add varying sizes for added difficulty. Not sure what the water gun was about but everything I just suggested might be further into the game. I only played until the first checkpoint.
So again cool concept, but add something that captures early so people will play more than 45 seconds.
Thanks for your feedback! There's a shadow hint that shows where the next platform is going to be, but only on easy. The water gun can be used to stun bats to get them out of your way, extinguish fireballs from dragons, and stun dragons to keep them from shooting fireballs for a short time.
Not Bad, Well...
This is a good attempt at making a game. Your animation isn't bad at all, I especially like the explosions when either the boss or you die yourself. The only thing I would suggest in any kind of future endeavor in games are health bars for yourself and the enemy. Or at the very least white out the forms when they detect collisions so the player can know when a hit has landed.
Music was okay but as the games not long not many people wont hear past 15 seconds. A theme song or something similar could keep people company on the title screen, and sound effects while shooting and exploding would make it a little more engaging.
If you improve these small things, and increase the difficulty level or at least the duration, u could be looking at a decent start of a gmae.
jst a too easy. I thought I could continue knocking out rounds for hour with no real challenge..

I appreciate the effort of trying to help people bt posting the code which is suppose to be taught doesn't help anyone at all. Y and X axis are pretty basic but should be mentioned and all the characters around it is just confusing for your target audience.
Atleast put some comments in the code to help people understand...
and seems easy just chilling in the middle. then the difficulty gets tougher and draws you in.
A very good game for making this by your self, simple but effective.
The only thing I would suggest is making power ups, or maybe items with power up abilities. Picking up a shield with 1 hp might take away from the challenge but if the power up is hidden or challenging to get to that'd balance it out. I'm curious as to how much time it took you to make this game yourself if you don't include the time it took to make the music you added?
Well, I basically started this sometime before the summer. The music, the music that is from the audio portal, was made before I even started this though (except for zone zero)
I don't have the original file, so I cannot look at the date it was created.
I have the final file, but it isn't the original (I make multiple fires)
All I can say is that I did this sometime last spring. I probably started it in January, I honestly don't know.
Sometime, I will get more into programming. In fact I been recently trying to make a run and shooting game, but I ran into problems.
Sometimes I wish I had a partner to work with.

It was a helpful tutorial to start with but some of the subjects weren't explained very thoroughly and the spelling errors interrupted the fluidity of the reading.
..bt the concept of pong two players is fun to this day. Sound you stated was coming so that'll be nice, bt also it might be more fair if the player can release the ball after scoring instead of it being unleashed sporadicly. Also I'm not sure if it was a bug but I hit the ball at an angle where it just went vertically and the game could not continue. Tweak it some, and this might be a spot for newgrounders can come challenge there friends in pong.

It's Kinda sad
How I can go thru most of what I played in this game with one tower, just upgrading it. I didn't think there was a max. This game is slow, unchallenging and unbalanced, which kills any kind of fun you'd hope to achieve. I've built a second basic tower with my excess funds and I'm really curious to see if I can beat the 50 waves with just these two.
I did like how the sheep noises was randomized but after killing 399813 sheep it didn't matter. Once the game becomes more balanced, and maybe a few more different types of sheep added to increase the challange and lower the predictablity, this might be a fun tower defense game. Keep doin what u do.
